The name “Charlie Bears” holds a special significance it was named after William’s pet cat, Charlie. With a dream and determination, they founded Charlie Bears and began producing a small range of limited edition bears.
The bear had a unique charm and character, which inspired them to create their own collection of bears with distinctive designs and personalities. While visiting a gift store in Pennsylvania, Charlotte and William noticed a small bear that stood out from the rest. The idea for Charlie Bears came about during a trip to the United States. William, her partner, recognized her talent and saw the potential to turn her hobby into something more significant.
Charlotte had a long-standing love for bears and had been designing and making her own teddy bears for friends and family for many years.
Charlie Bears began as a passion project by two friends, Charlotte Morris and William Morris, in 2005.
